A poem for your marriage

Jesus is the Lighthouse.

In your marriage you’re going to have to make some choices.
there will be many mouths opening up
to give you advice.
Advice from every kind of person,
it’ll be like a sea of voices
coming at you, and then
there’s your fears,
and losses from the past,
loud voices, soft voices.

And your emotions will at times
go wild, your mind may
blank, your body may shake,
and you may feel like there’s
No hope.

But there is. In the sea of voices, trouble, fear and loss, there
is a lighthouse always there. No matter where you are
and where you go, Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour is there. He is the
light for you to turn to. He’s the listening ear who wants
to hear your voice. Your voice crying out to Him, day or
night. Jesus is that Light.
