““His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist.” – Acts 17:27-28

Everything is kept alive by the power of the God. “The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command.”

Everything you see, the flowers, the birds, the insects than live in the dirt; all these things are kept alive by the power of God. God is everywhere. He fills the universe. God is present from the earth all the way to the ends of the universe in every direction. He is there by His Spirit.

Before the earth was created it says about the Bible: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” – Genesis 1.

God is His Word

God and His Word are one and the same. God is not like a man that He would lie. Men lie and say things to get what they want. Words can be used by people to get what they want from others. People lie. They lie and they get what they want. But God is not a man that He should lie. Go came down in the body of a man and lived on earth – but He never lied. He lived on earth as a man in complete obedience to God and the will of His Father. He obeyed the Will and commands of God. He never sinned; He never lied.

“This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand, and it is not beyond your reach. It is not kept in heaven, so distant that you must ask, ‘Who will go up to heaven and bring it down so we can hear it and obey?’ It is not kept beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask, ‘Who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear it and obey?’ No, the message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.

“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.

“But if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed.” – Deuteronomy 30:11-18

God and His Word are One

God says through His Word: “The LORD our God is the one and only LORD.” – Mark 12:29.

“The LORD is our God, the LORD alone.” – Deuteronomy 6:4.

“But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom God made everything and through whom we have been given life.” – 1 Corinthians 8:6

God is One; there is only One God. There isn’t 2 gods, or 3 gods, or 1,000 gods. There is only One God, One Faith, One Baptism, One Lord, One Body of Christ, One Kingdom of Heaven. And that Kingdom is at peace and unity.

God is not like man. Men make different groups within the same religion and then these different groups fight each other here on earth: brother against brother, sister against sister. But God would never do that; and God would never want that. God wants all people to live in harmony and peace with each other and in this way show the world that they truly belong to God.

If you love your brother you have God in your heart

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35

People of the world lie and steal and kill; the people of God live in peace and forgive others for the sins that have been committed against them. People of the world take out revenge and kill others for the sins they have committed; people of God are sad for the things done against them and their family but they have peace and forgiveness in their hearts against those who had done bad things.

People of the world want to be number one, they want to rule over all the others; but the people of God want to be the servants of all the others and help others. People of the world are selfish and want to accumulate wealth and power by any means possible; people of God are generous and share what they have so that they can be a blessing to others. People of this world follow the devil who only wants to steal, kill and destroy; people of God follow the Lord and want to give, heal and forgive.

Choose Life or Death

If you want to follow God and His ways you are choosing life; if you want to follow the devil and the ways of this world you are choosing death. The choice is yours. You can choose what it is you want to do.

The Word of God is in your ears; you are hearing the very words of God spoken to you. You are hearing the very Words of God; and God is the same as His Word – God is His Word.

If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.

Miracles happen today

Maybe you have seen a healing in your life; maybe you saw someone healed of a disease; or maybe God came to you and healed you. It happened because God was there doing it. Let me tell you a story of what happened to my wife:

My wife suffered from an unknown disease for many years. She was unable to walk straight and she started having a difficult time talking. She was tired all the time and would have fall because it was becoming difficult for her to walk. We prayed for many years with tears and cried out to God to have mercy on her for her many children’s sake. And one night in a miraculous way God heard our prayers.

My wife and I had gone to bed; we turned out the lights in the bedroom and were ready to fall asleep. Then my wife spoke up and said: “I think I just had a vision.”

Jesus came to my wife as a bright light. At first the light was far away and my wife thought that I had turned on the bedroom light so she opened her eyes but the lights were off. The light kept coming closer and closer to her. She could then see the outline of a man dressed in white – He was filled with power, love and compassion. She knew that his man was Jesus even though she could not see His face clearly.

She felt heat in her feet and this heat travelled up and down her body for some time. The heat felt good; it was very warm and felt tender and full of healing. It travelled up and down her body. Then she heard Jesus speak to her these lovely words: “Don’t worry, I am going to heal you.”

And then the vision was over and Jesus left her. Jesus appeared to my wife and spoke to her, she saw Him, she felt His healing rays of heat come into her body. She heard His loving words that said “Don’t worry, I am going to heal you” and she was healed.

With each and every passing day she felt more and more the power of God in her life healing her and changing her; she is still getting better each and every day. God performed a miracle in her life.

God is not far away – He is right here

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” – Psalm 46:1

God is an ever present help in time of trouble. Many people live alone. Many nations don’t know what it is to call upon God and have God help them; like the Somalis. But God says “I am a very present help in times of trouble.”

You can call upon God and have His power shine upon you and help you. The blessing of God for you today is:

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”’
