A message about Somalia:
We ask ourselves in times of hardships why we are going through so many things in life,
Why are we facing with so many endless difficulties, problems after problems, why are we going through this?
Surely as all humans, you went through these moments, moments of doubt, moments of satan attack when you felt down and you were having all these questions with no answers, when you felt alone and with nobody to talk to or to share your problems with when you felt that you are lost and you are no longer able to handle all that burden in your shoulder.
You have surely thought of giving up?
Let me tell you this:
According to the bible, we are. all sinful, and sin has caused us all to not be set alright.
God will bring us in places of hardship to discipline us because that’s what good fathers do:
“Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?. If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline
then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it”
The good news is that we are all children of God, and our father is a good father he is testing us to discipline us so we can be righteous, we can worship our Father and have an intimate relationship with him, open our heart to Him and confess that we are weak and we need his blessing, we need him in our lives, we need to be close to him, we need his guiding, his spirit, his love.
So many times we talk about being righteous and this is the problem we have today in Somalia, we closed our hearts to God, we refused to give him permission so he can humble us!
We don’t have trust in him and that’s because so many of us don’t believe in him.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”
Believing is the only way out for Somalia, belief in Jesus Christ, the son of God who died for our sins saving us from being perished to having an internal life.
Exalted is your name, we embrace the truth and we declare your power over all the world, we humble ourselves towards you, we submit our souls, let your holy spirit inside our heart,
Abba Father we pray for Somalia, open their hearts, Lord, let them come to believe in you, to join your kingdom.
In Jesus’ name Amen.
