Dear brothers & sisters in Christ
Each of us must reach out to those that are in the darkness, those who have their heart occupied by the enemy, the Somali unbelievers who have been troubled for decades, Somalia banned missionary work in the early ’70s and since then only a few Somalis have been able to hear the message of our savior Jesus Christ.
You, yes you Somali believer it’s your duty to reach out to your Somali neighbors, your classmates, your teachers, your parents, your children, reach out to them and share with them the word of God, it’s not up to you to make them believe, your calling is to share, and leave the rest to the Lord.
“Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
Jesus commissioned his 11 disciples directing them to a mountain in Galilee, when they met him some worshiped and some doubted him, but Jesus told them that all authority on heaven and earth belonged to him, he was in charge, he ordered them to go and make disciples of all nations, Jesus promised them that he is with them all the way to the end.
This is also a message to us Somali believers to go and make disciples whether it’s inside Somalia or outside, our country now more than ever needs Jesus, they need to believe, they need the truth!
So what are you waiting for?
Start your mission to reach out to our people and bring them from the control of the enemy (satan) to the light of Jesus.
