Somali Christian Ministries was founded by a group of individuals who wanted to meet the need of reaching Somalis with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a safe and effective manner. Many Somalis prefer to learn about Jesus and the Bible in secret. Somali Christian Ministries allows them to do that. Somalis, and others, are able to browse our website and listen to teachings or read them in the privacy and comfort wherever they are and whenever they want. I remember one Somali who told me: “I will go to the library and put on some headphones and listen to these teachings.”

Our website is optimized for mobile cell phone users so that people from anywhere in the world are able to listen and easily navigate our site with goal of reaching them with the Gospel.

The Gospel, the truth about Jesus is this: “I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Yes. The Bible says that Jesus died on the cross. The Bible says that Jesus rose from the dead after 3 days. The Bible says Jesus ascended and went into heaven. And Jesus will return one day to take to heaven those who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.

And the Bible says that Jesus is God. Here is but one verse from among thousands where the Bible says Jesus is God: “Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. Jesus said, “At my Father’s direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?”

They replied, “We’re stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.” (John 10:33).

The Jews of Jesus’ time knew what Jesus was saying. Jesus was saying: “I am God.”

If you want to have a personal relationship with God, and know that you are saved and going to heaven, you are able to have that. Feel free to contact us for more information, prayer, counseling, or any other spiritual need you may have.
