Jesus say in the Bible:
“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.” – Matthew 28:18
“Amar oo dhan ayaa samada iyo dhulka laygu siiyey.” – Matayos 28:18
Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the ruler of heaven and earth. There is no greater power than Jesus Christ. The world and all of creation are in His hands. Wisdom and power and glory are in His hands.
The Bible says about Jesus:
“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6
“Waayo, waxaa inoo dhashay ilmo, waxaa layna siiyey wiil, oo boqornimadu garbihiisay saarmi doontaa, oo magiciisana waxaa loo bixin doonaa Ka Yaabkaleh, iyo Lataliye, iyo Ilaaha Xoogga leh, iyo Aabbaha Daa’imka ah, iyo Amiirka Nabadda.” – Ishacyaah 9:6
There is only one God.

The Bible says:
“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,” – Philippians 2:10
“jilib kastoo ah waxyaalaha samada ku jira iyo waxyaalaha dhulka jooga iyo waxyaalaha dhulka ka hooseeyaaba, ay magaca Ciise u wada sujuudaan,” – Filiboy 2:10
Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the great Healer; He is the creator of the universe and everything that is in it; Jesus is the good shepherd who lay down His life for the sheep; He is the everlasting God, the Prince of Peace; King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
When someone believes in Jesus Christ and follows what Jesus says then they have peace and joy in their hearts. When you look out into the world in front of you, you may be thinking to yourself – everything is upside down; when you look at your life you may think to yourself – this is not the way things should be.
But if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and if you start to live and do the things that God wants you to do then God will fill you peace and everything will feel the way it should be.
You may think to yourself “this is not the way that life was meant to be.” You may have seen and experienced many things which were evil and hard to see; and I pray that God will heal you from all the hurts and bad things that you have seen and the bad things that have happened to you. I pray that God would heal you from all your diseases and all the trouble that has been in your life. God can do miracles and I pray that you receive the miracle that you are looking for in your life.
But sometime we are the ones who are guilty of causing our lives to be upside down. Sometimes we make choices to do some things which cause us trouble and upset the way things are going in our lives. We as human beings have the freedom to choose what we want to do; sometimes we as humans beings have the freedom to choose where we go; what we eat; what we drink; and who we spend our time with. Sometimes the bad things that are happening to us are because of the choices that we made. And sometimes we make choices to do the things that our sinful hearts want us to do.
We were all born with hearts that were sinful; we all did things that were selfish or hurt other people. Our hearts can be places where we dream of doing things that are evil; to hurt other people; or to try and get what we want by stealing of taking things from people that do not belong to us.
This is what Jesus said about our hearts:
“But the words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you. 19 For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander. 20 These are what defile you. Eating with unwashed hands will never defile you.” – Matthew 15:18-20
“Laakiin waxa afka ka soo baxaa, qalbigay ka yimaadaan; oo kuwaas weeye waxa ninka nijaaseeyaa. 19 Waayo, waxaa qalbiga ka soo baxaa fikirrada sharka leh iyo dilidda iyo sinada iyo galmada xaaraanta ah iyo tuuganimada iyo maragga beenta ah iyo cayda. 20 Kuwan weeye waxa ninka nijaaseeyaa. Laakiin in lagu cuno faro aan la maydhin, ninka ma nijaasayso.” – Matayos 15:18-20
When we choose to follow our selfish or sinful or bad desires then we cause our world to be turned upside down. Sometimes our world has been turned upside because God has allowed bad things to happen where we are living. But sometimes even in these bad places we decide to do bad things; it is because we have sinful hearts that we choose to do bad things.
If we want to have peace in our hearts and have our sins forgiven then we need to be forgiven by God and we need to ask God to give us a new heart. It is only through the cross where Jesus died that we find peace and joy; it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be given a new heart and be made clean. It is only through Jesus Christ can we find a new life that we can live with peace, joy and love and forgiveness.
So if you are looking for your sins to be forgiven; if you are looking for peace in your heart; if you are looking to have the guilt from all the bad things that you have done taken away; if you want God to forgive you for all the evil and bad things that you have done in your life then there is good news – Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins so that you could have peace with God and receive eternal life. If you want to be forgiven of your sins then you can ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and forgive you for all the bad things that you have done. You can ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and you will receive peace and joy and love and forgiveness in your life.
In Sudan there was a young boy whose family followed the teachings of Jesus Christ and believed in Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord of their hearts. They were good people and kind to their neighbors. One day some soldiers came to their home and asked the young boy to collect some wood. The soldiers were very mean and had evil things in their hearts and they did the evil things to many people.
The soldiers killed the young boys parents in a fire that they made with the wood that the young boy carried. The soldiers wanted to keep the young boy alive so that he could help them carry things for them like a servant. They told the young boy that if he became a Muslim he could stay alive and be their servant.
The young boy said that he believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and that he could not become a Muslim because Muslims do not believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and can forgive sins.
The soldiers became very angry and took the boy and threw him into the fire. Then the soldiers left. The young boy was able to roll out of the fire and stay alive. Some doctors were able to fix his body but the young boy’s body will always have the scars and signs to show that he was thrown into the fire. God protected that young man from those evil men who followed the evil thoughts in their hearts.
Many people in this world follow the evil things that their hearts tell them to do. Some of those people do not want to do evil things anymore and are sorry and feel guilty for the bad things they have done. They want God to forgive them for what they have done and also they want to change the things that they are doing. They do not want to do evil things anymore, they want to do good things. They do not want to be dirty and covered with sin; they want to be clean and covered by the holiness of God.
Maybe you are one of those people who has done some evil things in your life. Maybe you have killed someone; maybe you have raped someone; maybe you stole people’s money or took away their food and clothing; maybe you lived your life like a terrorist and you killed many people for money so that you could eat your food and live your life. And now you are feeling very guilty and you cannot sleep because of all the evil things you have done.
Jesus Christ is the answer to your problems. Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners like you from doing more evil things. Jesus Christ can change your heart so that you no longer want to do the evil things and Jesus can make you do things that are good.
Jesus Christ can forgive you from your sins so that you can have peace in your heart; Jesus can take away the feeling of guilt from your life so that you can have peace with God. This is why Jesus came into the world: Jesus came into the world so that people could put their faith in Him and live a new life for God.
