No one really likes to be in trouble. Daniel was in trouble in the lion’s den. He was put in the lion’s den because he was worshipping God. Evil men had him thrown into the lion’s den because they wanted to see Daniel dead. But Daniel did not die: God protected Daniel in the lion’s den.
This is what the Bible says:
“So at last the king gave orders for Daniel to be arrested and thrown into the den of lions. The king said to him, “May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you.”
A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den. The king sealed the stone with his own royal seal and the seals of his nobles, so that no one could rescue Daniel. Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night fasting. He refused his usual entertainment and couldn’t sleep at all that night.
Very early the next morning, the king got up and hurried out to the lions’ den. When he got there, he called out in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?”
Daniel answered, “Long live the king! My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.”
The king was overjoyed and ordered that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.” – Daniel 6:16-23

Ilaahay malaa’igtiisii buu soo diray, oo waxay xidhay libaaxyada afkoodii, oo waxba ima ay yeelin; waayo, wuxuu arkay inaanan xaq qabin; xaggaagana, Boqorow, waxba kuma aanan yeelin. Dabadeedna boqorkii aad iyo aad buu u farxay, oo wuxuu ku amray in Daanyeel bohosha laga soo bixiyo. Sidaasaana Daanyeel bohoshii looga soo bixiyey, korkiisiina innaba waxyeello lagama helin, maxaa yeelay, Ilaahiis buu isku halleeyey. – Daanyeel 6:16-23
Jesus cares about all our troubles but He did say that we would have to go through troubles.
This is what Jesus said in the Bible:
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
“Waxyaalahaas waxaan idiinkula hadlay inaad nabad igu haysataan. Dunida ayaad dhib kala kulantaan, laakiinse kalsoonaada, anaa ka adkaaday dunidaye.” – Yooxanaa 16:33
When we are in trouble Jesus will help us find the very thing that we need and are looking for. If we have lost something Jesus will help us find it. If we are missing something then Jesus will give it to us. If we don’t have something Jesus will give it to us. If we are hungry then Jesus will feed us; if we are thirsty Jesus will give us water to drink; if we are naked then Jesus will give us clothes to wear. Jesus is a good shepherd and a good shepherd always takes care of his sheep.
This is what Jesus said about being a shepherd:
“I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice.”
Those who heard Jesus use this illustration didn’t understand what he meant, so he explained it to them: “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep.
“I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep. I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.
“The Father loves me because I sacrifice my life so I may take it back again. No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again.” – John 10:1-18

Haddaba Ciise ayaa mar kale ku yidhi, Runtii, runtii, waxaan idinku leeyahay, Waxaan ahay illinka iduhu ka soo galaan. Kuwii hortay yimid oo dhammu waa tuugag iyo waxdhacayaal, iduhuse ma maqlin. Waxaan ahay illinka, haddii qof uun xaggayga ka soo galo, wuu badbaadi doonaa, wuuna soo geli doonaa oo bixi doonaa, daaq buuna heli doonaa. Tuuggu wax kale uma yimaado inuu wax xado oo dilo oo halleeyo mooyaane, aniguse waxaan u imid inay nolosha haystaan oo ay badnaan u haystaan.
Waxaan ahay adhijirka wanaagsan. Adhijirka wanaagsanu wuxuu naftiisa u bixiyaa idaha daraaddood. Kan ciidanka ah oo aan adhijirka ahayn, iduhuna aanay kuwiisa ahayn, kolkuu arko yeeyda oo soo socota, wuu ka tagaa idaha oo ka cararaa. Markaasay yeeydu qabsataa oo kala firdhisaa iyaga. Wuu cararaa, waayo, isagu waa ciidan uun, oo idaha waxba kama gelin. Waxaan ahay adhijirka wanaagsan; waan garanayaa kuwayga, kuwayguna waa i garanayaan, sida Aabbuhu ii garanayo, anna aan Aabbaha u garanayo; oo naftaydana waan u bixiyaa idaha daraaddood. Ido kale ayaan leeyahay oo aan kuwa xeradan ahayn, kuwaasna waa inaan keenaa, waxayna maqli doonaan codkayga, oo waxaa jiri doona adhi keliya iyo adhijir keliya.
Sidaas daraaddeed Aabbuhu waa i jecel yahay, waayo, naftaydaan bixiyaa inaan mar kale qaato. Ninna igama qaado, laakiin anaa iska bixiya. Waxaan leeyahay amar aan ku bixiyo, waanan leeyahay amar aan haddana ku soo qaato.” – Yooxanaa 10:1-18
So when you are in trouble then you need to remember that Jesus is good and that He loves you. Jesus is with you and is always helping you. Jesus cares for you and will never leave alone and desert you. Jesus is a friend who will be with you always. Jesus will be with in you in every circumstance and in every difficulty and will help you. You can put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ because He is very kind. Jesus is very good. Jesus is a good shepherd and a good shepherd always takes care of the sheep.
The good shepherd is not afraid to fight off the enemies that come and attack the sheep. The good shepherd is stronger than our enemies and we can trust Jesus to take care of our lives and our souls. He will bring us one day in heaven to be with Him forever. Amen.
